Five
Westside Wrestlers are preparing for competition
in the Radford High School's Annual Junior Varsity
tournament in Pear Harbor, Oahu on Saturday December
3 . This tournament is for high school freshman
or sophomore or junior or senior in thier first
year of competition.Daniel Quinlan, Chris Kaiakapu,
Evan Hurd and Cole Burton are all freshman, David
Greenslade is a junior, all attend Waimea High School.
Coach Jojo and coach Mac have been teaching the
boys high school rules, also known as "folkstyle",
for this pre-season high school tournament. Coach
Patrick Garcia of Waianae High School arranged for
us to participate in this pre-season tournament
even though Waimea High School has not yet sanctioned
the sport.
